| I’m looking for an Automation Tester to join a very prestigious business media based in Manchester City Centre.
They are looking for someone to come in and lay the foundations of Test Automation, so you must be able to design and develop frameworks from scratch using either PHP, Java or Python, in an Agile and Behaviour Driven Development (BDD) environment. The automation tool that they use is going to be up to you as you will have full autonomy over the direction of this function (probably Selenium WebDriver though).
Working closely with the Software Developers and DevOps Engineers, you will be part of the wider development team that design, builds and maintains the company's software and systems as well as solutions they build for their clients and customers.
They aren't looking for someone with 10+ years experience, just someone that has a solid 2-3 years under their belt that is looking for the next step in their career, where they will have more responsibility and get the chance to own and shape a testing function over time.
The salary is roughly £40-45,000 plus an excellent benefits package.
