| We are looking for a Senior Test Engineer to join a company who operate at the forefront of their field in a niche market sector. The successful candidate will report to the Product Manager, who is primarily responsible for sprint planning. The candidate will also work closely with and manage the existing Software Tester, and as team leader be responsible for allocating test tasks to them and reviewing their work.
Working primarily with the Microsoft family of development and productivity products. You’ll use Agile development methodology to produce and support a Windows-based desktop application and an Android-based mobile application which are used together by our healthcare business end users to manage provision of their services to their patients.
You are highly organised and able to manage a busy workload. This with your extensive experience in software testing (ideally with some experience in testing mobile applications), will able you to identify and implement methodologies best suited to a small, quick-moving company.
With a constant stream of new requirements and ideas coming in, there’s a lot to do and you’ll get the opportunity to learn new skills and technologies to advance yourself.
You’re going to need a minimum 3 years working as a hands-on Software Tester along with 5 years working within the software development industry along with experience documenting test scripts and bug reports
Desirable experience:
· Azure DevOps
· Testing of Android mobile applications
· Testing of web-based applications
· Testing of Windows-based applications
