IT Infrastructure Support Manager- £50k - Doncaster

Clemence Rogers are currently recruiting for an IT Infrastructure Support Manager to be based in Doncaster. The Infrastructure Support Manager will oversee a team of infrastructure engineers to support and maintain the Groups infrastructure services including, Wide Area Network, Local Area Network, Cloud Based Azure Services, Local Server Hardware and Software, Telephony (mobile and fixed), Microsoft Office 365, End user client computing, unified communications systems, Security systems, anti-malware, DLP, and Mimecast.

Key Responsibilities of a Infrastructure Support Team Leader:

• Adherence of the infrastructure to the IT SLA

• Resolution of problem tickets to IT SLA

• Changes documented and submitted to CAB

• Problem management resolution

• Identifying and raising risks and issues where appropriate

• Create and maintain monthly management reports on infrastructure performance

• Create or help in the business cases for future application initiatives

• Working with the business units on identifying and implementing service improvements

• Financial reconciliation of central services costs and working out individual business unit recharges

• Act as the escalation point for issues and problems within the IT team

• Operate and run the infrastructure department within annual budget

• Recruitment, management and development of Infrastructure team members

Ideal Candidate:

• Extensive experience working or leading a Group based Enterprise Infrastructure Team

• An understanding of modern infrastructure practices and processes with a view on capacity planning, monitoring and reporting

• Documenting problem resolution and maintaining infrastructure knowledge base articles

• Maintaining configuration documentation and updating where necessary

• Management of third-party application suppliers including vendor service reviews

• Management of Time and Priority Setting

• Goals and Standards Setting

• Work Planning and Scheduling

• Listening and Organising

• Clarity of Communication

• Getting Objective Information

• Problem Identification and Solution

• Assessing Risks and Decision-Making
