Job Description
I am looking for an Executive and Employee Communications Specialist within the Technologies sector for one of the largest IT providers in the world.

This is a contract role paying up to £43ph until July 2021 with the option to extend, please see below for a full job description:

* Serves a hybrid role creating content for multiple internal and external channels focused on Technology Strategy and the VP of Technology Sales * Supports the business by developing/executing an overall strategic communication platform * Has to be strong in creating content for in-person delivery (presentations and speeches etc). and understanding of technology

Role split: appr 65% supporting internal comms planning and execution: 25% supporting external communications. 10% supporting impact measurement and reporting

Role-specific responsibilities: Development and delivery of an integrated communication plan (strategy and content (messaging platform) and execution through channels) in support of the company business objectives

* Provide external communications on behalf of the business, including messaging documents, presentations, keynotes, videos, podcasts, blogs and other social media content, for audiences including customers, partners, press, etc. * This includes Social media incl. Blog posts, Exec engagement in linkedin and other community engagement * Provide internal communications on behalf of the business, including written announcements, Q&A, messaging documents, presentations, videos, blogs and other social media content. * Research, manage and support speaking opportunities * Prepare and/or organize briefing materials as needed for industry events, media/analyst meetings * Prepare executive platform on an annual basis if required * Track and report on communication success metrics

General responsibilities * Build and maintain strong working relationships with relevant stakeholders in EMEAR Comms Team, EMEAR business and in HQ * Drive regular planning and reporting meetings with key stakeholders * Promote the business area offerings through leveraging customer case studies and customer wins * Provide communications counsel and support to relevant stakeholders, groups and spokespeople * Drive education and engagement, as well as shifting perceptions of external and internal audiences

Required Skills and Competencies * Exceptional technology content creation, writing and storytelling skills * English skills - native preferable * Working experience as an editor or has strong editorial background * Communications professional in B2B sector * Experience in giving counsel and guidance to executives * Needs to have credibility and presence with senior management * Self-motivated with ability to manage areas of responsibility with minimum supervision and guidance * Ability to work as part of a regional and global team * Ability to exercise discretion when presented with sensitive information or confidential issues * Flexibility and adaptive to change * Ability to work on a project basis, ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously
