A vacancy has arisen for an enthusiastic and motivated Technician to join an established Centre for Clinical Skills and Simulation. The successful applicant will join the existing skills and simulation team supporting faculty staff and students involved in courses for the health and social care professions. Duties include technical support for all simulation operations including, but not limited to, clinic/ward/room preparation, clean up, maintenance of human patient simulators and associated computers/software, maintaining inventories of assets and maintaining storage areas.

Applications from retired nurses and workers with previous clinical experience are welcome. You may have Bachelor’s degree in biological, biomedical related subjects or in a Nursing or other health related discipline or an equivalent combination of education/experience in a technical or clinical role. The minimum qualifications include BTEC, HND, NVQ (level 3 or above) or equivalent with a minimum of GSCE maths and English language or equivalent.
