|I have a great new role to join my client based in the centre of Bristol ( a couple of days remote available if needed) right by Temple Meads Station so really easy to commute to.
I love what these guys are about. They are a tech for good start-up who have been going for a couple of years. Their product is based around a brilliant concept that has really started to really take off and they are also set to launch their product in the US soon. They currently have a team of 20 and are set to double in size by the end of the year.
They are now looking to bring on an automation tester to work closely with their development team and build out automation for them.
Their product is a web app developed in PHP Laravel and REACT that integrates with 3rd party API's.
You'll have the opportunity to own the automation strategy and decide on the best-suited tools (they are thinking along the lines of Cypress, Selenium etc) but are very open to you implementing the best tools for the job. You'll build the automation frameworks and work closely with the developers in terms of the testing that needs to be done, improving coverage across their products. It is likely that they will need to take on an additional tester to support the automation work in the future so there is potential scope to grow your position over time.
They work in an agile environment to two weeks sprints and offer flexible hours to ensure that people have a good work-life balance. They are a sociable bunch and there is also the possibility of a couple of days working from home for the right candidate. They offer 25 days holiday plus an extra day off in your birthday month, bank holidays on top and they are just rolling out a bonus scheme. You also get £500 a year towards training, courses, certifications etc that you feel would benefit you and they have a contributory pension.
They are looking for a solid automation tester capable of building frameworks from scratch although they are flexible on what tools and technologies you have worked with.
Salary is anywhere from £35,000 up to £55,000 dependent on experience.
