|Acorn Recruitment is searching for a Retail Systems Manager to work with a large-scale organisation in Cardiff city centre.
The organisation is transitioning through significant growth following a number of successful contract bids and this role is key in the development of the organisation.
Deputising for the Head of Retail, this role will be responsible for ensuring the successful delivery of fully functioning and high performing retail systems to ensure they're optimised for customer experience
Salary: £40,000 with various benefits
What the role will involve: * Responsible for ensuring that the various retail and purchasing systems at all of their locations are operating to their optimum capability and other equipment is fully functioning and appropriately configured through close management of maintenance * Work directly on various projects which impact any of the channels that customers use to purchase their service * Prepare and deliver presentations to internal and external stakeholders and third-party organisations relating to existing and new purchasing systems * Work with the retail analysis manager to raise awareness of the performance of the retail systems and operational coverage * Organise and chair groups containing staff who use the purchasing systems or are involved with the administration of these systems to give feedback on their experiences * Identify potential improvements for the purchasing systems and develop/present business cases to implement these changes
What we're looking for: * Experience of being involved in the delivery of change projects * Previous experience in managing large contracts * Ability to influence managers outside of their direct control during business cases * Organised and structured approach to managing a large network of systems * Subject matter expert for retail and ticket systems operation
