This is ideally a temp to perm opportunity so an immediate start, though if you are in a permanent role, then it can be looked at a straight permanent opportunity.

Overview of the Role Provide 1st Line Technical support and administration for users of the companies Online System (an internally developed application). Experienced Web Application Support Analyst to join a high-profile team within the business. Talented Application Support Analyst to provide 1 st line Application Support to the business customers, liaise with the company’s internal infrastructure teams and developers. Reporting to the Service Desk Team Leader the Application Support Analyst will play a role within the support team.

Duties and Responsibilities 1st Line Technical Support using Service Desk Software (ITSM). • Working within the ITIL framework. • Provide efficient and effective support to system users. • Ensure that service desk requests are logged and processed efficiently, effectively and in a timely manner. • Resolving tickets on a 1st line level and where necessary, escalate to more senior IT personnel. • Undertake any other related work under the direction of the IT Management Team.

Person Specification Highly motivated with excellent administrative and organisational skills Strong problem solving and decision making skills Excellent communication skills Methodical and analytical approach Broad experience of IT systems and accurate keyboard skills Excellent customer service skills, both in person and on the telephone Experience in working in a customer focused environment Strong interest in IT Ability to work independently or as part of a team

Great to Have but Not Essential The skills required for the Application Support Analyst: • Experience of BI, SQL, SSIS, SSRS, SSAS • Office 365 suite • HTML, XML and Powershell scripting experience • Intermediate SQL Query experience • Understanding of networking, IIS .NET and infrastructure principles • Windows server experience
