|Service Desk Manager / Helpdesk Team Leader required for my client based near Basingstoke for a permanent role, salary £40-45K + benefits.
My expanding client are looking to take on a Service Desk Manager to run their Helpdesk team (7 Engineers at different levels).
* Day to day management of Service Desk staff
* Delegation of work based on priority and severity
* Managing productivity within the team
* Working with senior management to drive efficiencies within the desks
* Performing 1-2-1’s with staff
* Enforcing and adapting SLA’s and KPI’s
* Process improvement and implementation
* Working based on ITIL principles
* Escalation management
* Defining duties of tiered Engineers
* 2+ years of people management experience in a Service Desk / Helpdesk environment
* ITIL experience
