|Service Desk Analyst - Peterborough
£20,000 - £22,000 + on-call + benefits
If you are a Service Desk Analyst and want to join one of the UK’s leading multi-channel home shopping retailer, looking to progress your career with real world experience and technical training then this role could be for you.
You must have a passion for delivering outstanding customer service backed by your knowledge of technology and IT problem solving ability; we hire first on excellent people skills.
You will work as part of a strong service desk team, responsible for providing assistance to the business for IT business related issues. Receiving/recording/troubleshooting inbound calls/tickets, insuring efficient resolution or redirection of support requests. You must have the ability to prioritise a varied workload, understand the impact of services on the business. You will need to be approachable and people orientated as well as having a good technical background.
* Have good experience with the following technologies:
- Networking (WAN, LAN)
- Active Directory
- Microsoft Office Suite
- Windows Products
* Excellent communication skills, listening, written and verbal * Ability to support/challenge business requirements * Good problem solving skills and resilience * Proactive in bringing forward issues and opportunities, direct and persuasive when necessary * Supportive to other team members * Great team player, flexible, responsive, takes ownership and has excellent attention to detail * Willing to provide on call support as the necessary
