|IT Helpdesk Analyst Gloucester £22,000 per annum plus excellent benefits Permanent Full time, 37 hours per week
Our client is an independent housing association providing excellent housing management services to over 5,200 tenants and 260 leaseholders in Gloucester. They are listed in The Sunday Times Top 100 not for profit companies to work for.
They are looking for a dynamic Helpdesk Analyst to join our IT Operations team to assist with the transition of ICT services at GCH to predominantly Microsoft Cloud based systems.
You will be responsible for first line service desk and technical support for business systems, applications, hardware and infrastructure, within the ITIL framework. Working on their helpdesk system, you will effectively manage reports of incidents and other requests, ensuring that you complete within their SLA’s. Proactive in your approach, you will liaise directly with other IT teams, reporting any incidents that cannot be resolved at first point of contact. You will also liaise directly with third party suppliers to ensure updates are delivered in a timely fashion, of sufficient quality and suitably prioritised.
In addition to this, you will be expected to contribute to internal social media content and input to the development of a knowledge base and self-help systems for end users, delivering basic user training in one-to-one and one-to-many scenarios as needed.
They would want to hear from people that have ideally worked within an ITIL environment previously, and as such can demonstrate experience of supporting Microsoft and Android operating systems. However, they would still welcome applications from candidates that do not have relevant experience but can evidence that they have obtained qualification(s) relevant to the role. Ideally, you will have a valid UK driving license and access to your own vehicle as you will be servicing other sites.
Above all, the successful candidate will have excellent communication and interpersonal skills, along with a strong customer focus and the ability to understand needs and perceptions, handling difficult situations sensitively and setting clear expectations.
In return, they offer excellent benefits including flexible working, town centre office with free parking or free bus travel, subsidised gym membership, Social Housing Pension Scheme, up to 29 days annual leave excluding bank holidays, childcare vouchers and employee wellbeing package.
Our client is committed to equal opportunities and actively encourages applications from all sections of the community
