Location: Leeds, West Yorkshire
Kier Group are currently recruiting a non-technical Coordinator to work in our Leeds office. The purpose of the role is to operate within the Construction/Infrastructure division and assist the IT Business Partner in delivering world-class IT services through close involvement with the business at all stages of large scale infrastructure projects, from bidding to operation.

* * Assist the Business Partner in gathering business information / requirements and disseminate IT information to the business * * Work with the business unit to ensure that their IT requirements are documented, understood and requested in a timely manner for new construction projects * * Work closely with the business unit project managers and staff to keep up to date with business requirements and communicate IT matters and updates on IT Projects * * Manage the IT needs of new starters by pro-actively sourcing equipment, software, accounts and permissions, along with ensuring the recovery of equipment and removal of accounts when roles or needs change * * Ensure asset, site and user records are accurate, maintained and shared with relevant departments within Kier such as the IT service desk, implementation, business partner and management teams, including new and closing sites. * * Advise the business on appropriate standard phone and data set ups recommendations for new sites, ensuring these are ordered and delivered when required via Kier IT or its external providers * * Arrange installation of site data cabling and IT infrastructure such as multi-function copiers in conjunction with Central and Mobile IT teams * * Ensue construction staff have the appropriate software, services and access to carry out their duties *
