This opportunity is available to those who already have experience in IT support or those who have recently graduated from school or college with relevant IT education or experience.
As a Tier 1 Support Engineer, you will perform a key role in answering inbounds calls and logging new support cases accordingly, resolving any software and hardware faults and escalating any issues to Tier 2 engineers. You will also be responsible for installing software updates and creating help documents for internal and external use. You will be working with a diverse range of technologies that will enhance your skills and you will join a small team of like-minded people in a friendly office environment.
Tier 1 Support Engineer Requirements: • Strong communications skills and customer service focus • Must have a genuine interest in technology with a willingness to learn • Experience of working with Microsoft Operating Systems • Able to prioritise and manage your workload • Experience of working with PABX telephone systems, and/or with bespoke software applications in a commercial working environment
Working Hours: Office based 37 hours a week: Mon - Thurs 9 am - 5.30pm, Fri 9 am - 5pm
