Junior Web Developer:

C#.Net, MVC, Javascript, HTML. Near Chester, Cheshire, Commutable via Deeside, Wrexham, North Wales and Crewe To 22K + Bonus + Bens

We have an exciting opportunity for a Junior Web Developer to work for a national brand on a range of world class sites. The Junior Web Developer role is perfect for someone who would like to work in a large and experienced Digital team with cutting edge tools.

The Junior Web Developer role is with a FT250 firm - so if you are currently working in a Digital Media environment and fancy working in a large, established commercial environment, then this Junior Web Developer role could be perfect for you.

Essential Requirement: Good Degree in Computer Science or Similar (2.1 or above preferred may consider 2.2) Practical experience of Hand-Coding HTML Web Pages Experience of Databases and SQL query writing Experience of OO Programming Languages - Ideally C#.NET and ASP.Net or MVC. Will consider PHP or Java

Desirables: Any experience with Javascript Any experience with CSS Any demonstrable personal project work undertaken to gain web development skills will be of interest - particularly own web sites and dissertation programming projects etc.

The Role: To use Company-standard tools (Visual Studio, C#, MVC, SQL, Javascript, JQuery, HTML, CSS, GIT, Umbraco/Sitecore) to deliver Web sites and digital applications with data stored in RDBMS such as SQL Server To attend project and team meetings and liaise with other Developers, Systems Analysts, Management and end users, in discussing system development and design Develop code in line with best security practices Working with various functional departments and IT to identify and resolve any problems with the applications Carrying out application testing
