|RETAIL DATA ANALYST
We are currently recruiting for a Retail Data Analyst to work for a successful company located in the Kings Hill area.
The successful candidate will be responsible for looking after all of the company data sources, presenting data in a set format and relevant reports to the sales and procurement team on a regular basis.
They will also be expected to make relevant presentations to our retail customers, analyse and identify key areas of opportunity for the sales team to pursue in addition to European and global reports to be simplified and delivered to stakeholders on an ad hoc basis for their benefit.
oHelp develop and maintain improved systems used on the Retail desk – Excel based programmes, Prophet, Domo
oImprove the current ways of working within the reporting and sales management processes
oDevelop Domo as a user friendly tool for Data Intelligence
oManage and maintain certain key functions – Domo, IRI, Kantar
oManage and maintain the retail specific reporting sites
oCollate procurement and sales information under one structure to avoid duplication
Product / Process / Analysis
oIdentify savings for the desk and continue to remain competitive
oFinancial and product analysis opportunities
oWaste, flow and volume efficiency, cost analysis across all areas
oSet out cost implications of variances to models
oForecasting, weather and seasonal modelling of company products to be continued and improved
oRetail reporting and weekly updating – Actual volumes vs. programmes for example.
oUnderstand the retail environment with particular attention to Service Provision models
oDemonstrate SQL experience and Excel to an expert level;
oBe numbers driven with a knowledge of programming;
oHave excellent communication skills to proactively engage with the retail team to maximise the potential to drive market and product performance;
oBe experienced in presenting data to senior managers, stakeholders customers and colleagues;
oHave the capability to work to tight deadlines whilst maintaining focus and accuracy;
oOffer the facility for flexibility when required;
oMaintain a consistently high standard of personal presentation.
