|Our client based in Reading is looking for a Channel Manager - Northern Europe.
Responsible for driving revenue through indirect sales channels, including large distributors, managed service providers, system integrators and value-added resellers. The Channel-Partner represents the entire range of company products and services to assigned partners though may focus on a specific solution set based on partner or vertical market.
Reporting to the VP of Northern Europe, the Channel Manager must have a solid understanding of working with distributors, system integrators and other channel partners in the IT and service provider markets. A strong, proven background in channel-partner sales is a must, with the business savvy to drive key relationships with partner sales leaders and executives. An ability to establish, build and foster senior executive management for sponsorship is critical. The Channel Manager is responsible for achieving sales, profitability, and channel partner recruitment objectives.
The ultimate measure of success is Channel driven bookings and revenue. This will be accomplished by building, developing, maintaining and cultivating new and existing business relationships with channel partners. Some key responsibilities: · Developing a clear, concise and actionable Channel Partner strategy plan focused on value added distribution /managed service providers, SIs & VARs · Developing a sales strategy to deliver quarterly and annual sales targets · Formulating and executing strategic and tactical plans, both sales and marketing. · Selling solution set · Managing channel conflict and formulation of strategic options · Conduct regular business reviews and QBR’s. · Closing business and managing inventory levels to match pipeline requirements. · Experience of channel partner sales experience with demonstrated sales closing figures. · Experience with developing and managing channel partnerships with large carriers, system integrators, and resellers. · Proven record of successful selling, business development, executive level influence, negotiation, and exceptional communication and presence. · Desire and passion to work in a fast-paced, aggressively growing organization. · Strong acumen in technology and ability to articulate solution value proposition. · Self-motivated, driven by success, and delivers results. · Exceptional communication and personal skills. · Ability to work closely with Sales, Marketing and Product Management.
