|Epicor Consultant with manufacturing expertise to work for one of the top Epicor resellers in the UK who have a very strong client base and a 20 year track record. They supply, implement and support Epicor ERP business software to SME’s and large corporates. Salary to £60k plus car allowance and decent bonus, plus private healthcare.
Working on Epicor v9 and v10 ERP solutions, you will focus on their key markets within manufacturing, and warehouse management. They are still growing and winning new deals, plus they have go-lives scheduled for completion over the next few months, so they need an additional Epicor ERP Consultant on board as soon as possible who can make an immediate contribution. They are happy to look at ERP Consultants working for a reseller or consultancy, or at candidates who have implemented Epicor internally at an end user company.
These positions are based from home. On average you will be on site 3 days a week, with 2 days working from home, and will probably visit their head office once every 3 weeks or so. So you can literally live anywhere in the UK as the clients are nationwide, and there may be occasional international and / or European travel. Ideally your home base will be in the Midlands (Stafford, Birmingham, Coventry, Derby, Sheffield, Oxford, Cambridge areas) but they will consider candidates based as far as Manchester or Leeds in the North, or London or Berkshire in the South.
Typical Epicor ERP projects here are 30 -200 consulting days, and you need experience of the full software implementation life cycle. Ideally you will have Epicor v9 and / or Epicor v10 experience, but legacy products such as Epicor Vantage would be fine too, along with manufacturing skills. Heavy manufacturing experience with assembly, discreet, metal bashing manufacturing would be the ideal experience and they would snap you up. A clear understanding of manufacturing methods and techniques, MTO, MTS, CTO, SFDC etc, and BOMs, Workflows, Routings, Engineering Change Management, and KANBAN are the skills they are keen to see.
You will gather client requirements, run workshops, interpret their needs, configure the Epicor solution to suit, map business processes, conduct functional design, conduct quality implementations, handle the go-lives and data migration and train the users. Modules are likely to include raw materials, make-to-order, production, and warehousing, finished goods, batch processing, sales order processing, and distribution. They follow structured methods for their project management and software implementation and have a very professional approach.
If you are a talented Epicor Consultant with excellent communication and client facing skills looking for a new challenge with a leading UK reseller, this role should be explored.
This company is stable, profitable and well-regarded; they have a great team of quality ERP Consultants, Project Managers and Support Analysts and a superb reputation for excellent service and fully managed Epicor services. Plus, they are run by a very approachable and knowledgeable MD.
