Job Title: German Speaking IT Support Technician

Location: Gloucester

Salary: Negotiable depending on experience

Our client is a market leading software company based in Gloucester. This is an excellent opportunity for a creative and innovative German speaking IT Support Technician to join their dedicated team. The role offers great variation as you will have exposure to multiple disciplines such as software installation and configuration, operational advice, application support, delivering software as a service, databases and reporting. Main responsibilities:

* Deal with incoming customer support requests, logging and updating tickets where appropriate. * Escalating issues and business opportunities to the relevant departments. * Provide remote support via industry standard tools to desktop, server and mobile applications. * Assist with the creation of reports for both customer and internal use, primarily using Crystal Reports and SQL queries. * Provide technical backup and application knowledge to all business areas where required. * Ensure the internal systems are kept up to date. * Assist with the updating and day-to-day management of the company's software and service platforms.

Key Skills & Experience:

* Excellent customer service skills. * Experience or qualifications within one of the following: Networking, Windows Server, Crystal Reports or SQL. * Experience of delivering customer or application support. * A broad understanding of IT. * Strong systems fault-finding and analytical skills. * Strong communication skills - both written and verbal. * Fluent in German.
