Job Description
Strategic Tools Software Team Leader Would you like to lead the team, developing the software tools comprising of simulators, stimulators and analysis tools? We currently have a vacancy for a Strategic Tools Software Team Leader at our site in New Malden. As a Strategic Tools Software Team Leader, you will be responsible for managing the workload resources and product delivery of the Strategic Tools Software team ensuring all activities are delivered in accordance with agreed plans. This role will also provide you with the added opportunity to lead a team that is growing its portfolio of tools and strategic importance and looking at the refinement of processes.

Your main responsibilities as a Strategic Tools Software Team Leader will involve: * Managing the Strategic Tools Software Team daily * Responsibility for all financial aspects, assignment of tasks, tracking and reporting on activities * Managing team resources and forward planning * Supporting the production of training plans, running performance and development reviews and overseeing the general development of members of the team * Supporting the technical leads with what they require helping to define the way ahead and strategy * Liaising with the customer and other teams within the projects to achieve the completion of the projects to time and budget

Your skills and qualifications: * Team Leader and man management experience * Experience of delivering systems and software, preferably with experience of the complete lifecycle * Ability to operate in a large, complex multi-project environment with financial responsibilities * Experience and a level of technical understanding regarding software and systems design and development, plus integration activities preferably in a C++ / Linux domain * Earned Value Management knowledge
