Job Description
Harvey Nash is working with a leading brand based in Buckinghamshire as they seek a Business Analyst.

The successful candidate will engage with the business to understand its needs, translates these into requirements and works with IT colleagues to propose technology solutions. The analyst is responsible through the Agile Software Development Life Cycle for ensuring that the business requirements are met, through development via both on and offshore delivery teams.

You will work to negotiate with business partner's scope in line with clear benefits. Additionally, you will work with project managers, architects, developers and testers to assess how technology could be deployed to meet business requirements alongside providing the detailed system requirements for the agreed IT solutions, and support their implementation.

This can include system testing. You will also be required to provide reports and to facilitate workshops and present to stakeholders at all levels of the business. Further you will work to ensure that all work follows appropriate standards and conforms to agreed quality plans, and to identity improvements to standards and processes.

Essential

**Degree or equivalent professional qualification

**Recent practical experience of providing requirements analysis and documentation and detailed system requirements/specifications.

**Involved in development of at least one large scale application running on a multi-user database management system.

**Practical experience of business process analysis and modelling.

**Techniques for requirements analysis and definition, process analysis and logical data modelling. **Broad knowledge of key IT capabilities and developments, and how they can be deployed for business advantage.

**Theory and practice of quality control across the software development lifecycle
