Job Description
A fast-moving, global market-leader in the healthcare technology industry is seeking a motivated and talented engineer to join a team working on a business-critical web and mobile application.

The business is entering new markets building an application for use in house and by customers using server side JavaScript. This role will suit a C# or Java Developer who wants to work with Node.JS, NoSQL, Mongo DB and other related middleware frameworks.

To be suitable for this role you will be able and willing to learn the latest technologies and be creative and curious. Youll also have a self-starting attitude and able to work alone or in a team.

Role: Node JS Software Developer - JavaScript, MongoDB

Salary: £20,000 - £35,000 per annum, plus company pension scheme, life insurance, private medical cover, flexible and home working, 5 weeks holiday plus 8 bank holidays, training and development

Location: Malvern, Worcestershire - commutable from Great Malvern, Worcester, Cheltenham, Gloucester, Hereford, Leominster, Kidderminster, Birmingham, Evesham, and surrounding areas.

The office is in a great location at the foot of the Malvern Hills and the company offer a relaxed dress code, flexible hours and working from home.

The successful candidate will get to work in a multi-stack technology environment, utilising the latest development methodologies and techniques. Joining a team of highly-skilled engineers you will be working on a high-availability, high-dependence product, business to business integration and mobile app development.

As a Node JS Developer you will be responsible for unit and automation testing working within agile principles undertaking continuous integration and iterative development. You should have a good degree or equivalent in a scientific or computer related discipline and a genuine enthusiasm for learning, technology and innovation.


·More than 6 months working in industry using an OOP language ·An interest in and knowledge of HTML5, CSS3 and JavaScript including frontend frameworks ·An interest in and knowledge of using JavaScript on the server (Node.JS) including middleware frameworks ·An interest in or working knowledge of NoSQL data stores / MongoDB.

Desirable: ·Unit testing (TDD) ·Automation testing (BDD) ·Agile principles ·Continuous Integration/Deployment
