Technical Support Agent – Italian Speaking

Reading based Base £34k + bonus + full corporate benefits

Focusing on the Italian market you will be working for a global IT security software vendor who is exceptionally well placed in Gartner’s magic quadrant. This companies helps protect millions of banking transition, ensures security for government agencies as well as enterprise clients. By protecting websites and identity management you will be instrumental in ensuring their clients are well protected and receive the very best technical support.

Based in Reading you are responsible for providing customers and partners in both the UK & Italian region with technical support for a variety of operational, network, server, or related services via telephone, chat and e-mail. This varied role will see you working in a dynamic environment where initiative and a willingness to take on responsibility is a must.

Responsibilities: • Interact daily with customers in order to identify, document and resolve customer issues. • Provide timely, reliable and professional service. • Interact with various functional departments to provide timely and accurate solutions to end customers. • Develop policies and procedures to help strengthen the business.

Basic Qualifications • Knowledge of IT security & good access to Reading • Fluent in Italian, written and oral • Working knowledge of the Microsoft and Linux based operating systems. • Knowledge of web servers (e.g., IIS, Apache), application servers (e.g., WebSphere, WebLogic, Tomcat), networking (TCP/IP, routers, firewalls, load balancers) • Strong analytical, troubleshooting, organizational, and problem solving skills. • Proven ability to provide exceptional customer service and adapt quickly to new challenges in a fast-paced environment. • Experience working for an IT Help Desk or Call Centre
