Linx Printing Technologies have an exciting opportunity for a Business Systems Analyst to join their growing team based in St Ives, Cambridgeshire.

Job Title: Business Systems Analyst

Location: St Ives, Cambridgeshire

Linx is seeking a Business Systems Analyst with strong functional knowledge of Salesforce CRM and associated applications and technologies. In addition, knowledge of SQL Server, Qlikview, ERP systems and Microsoft development environments (VB and .Net) would be beneficial.

Working within the Business Systems team the role will identify business requirements, define and agree specifications and deliver solutions in conjunction with the business user representatives. An element of work will involve managing and resolving help-desk calls related to all business applications, including Sage ERP, VB programs developed in-house, Salesforce and Qlikview. This role will also encompass occasional support for the network infrastructure, servers and clients when required and in conjunction with the existing IT team.

This person must be highly analytical and have strong communication skills, both written and verbal, and be comfortable working with individuals throughout the IT and business organization.

The business is planning to implement Oracle ERP in 2018 and the role will evolve to cover this application when Sage is replaced.

Business Systems Analyst - Key Responsibilities:

- Support critical business improvement initiatives, initially related to Salesforce projects

- Ensure effective support for business systems solutions

- Work in partnership with the business to understand and document system requirements, agree specifications and deliverables

- Provide short-term, mid-term, and long-term solutions to business issues

- Work with the global enterprise team to get the necessary support or solutions in place to resolve business issues

- Manage user and stakeholder expectations and robustly assess all requests for additional or non-standard developments

- Coordinate testing and sign-off delivered solutions with end users

- Maintain appropriate documentation

- Use external and internal resources to research new functionality, identify business benefits and obtain support for improvements

- Act as a consultant to business counterparts to improve the use of existing system solutions and/or business processes

- Follow proper application and change management practices

- Provides customer service to the assigned business groups and ensure escalated operational needs are met

- Provide hands-on troubleshooting and support related to business systems, infrastructure and users when required

Business Systems Analyst - Minimum Requirements:

- A minimum of 2 years in a SalesForce related IT role with experience of SalesForce Administration, CRM application modules and SalesForce Communities functions

- Additional experience in SalesForce development, Conga, Marketo, Click Tools and Qlikview,

- Technical skills, including writing VBA, VB6 and SQL

- Understanding and use of databases (SQL Server, Oracle) and scripting

- Proven ability to troubleshoot and resolve issues using a structured, logical approach

- Proven experience working within a business systems role to investigate, research, recommend, test and implement solutions

- Demonstrated ability to perform effective prioritization with limited resources and drive results with a high emphasis on quality

- Solid understanding of wider IT principles, including ERP, networking, server configuration (Windows 2008 – 2012), Active Directory and Hyper-V

- Demonstrated Problem Management Root Cause Analysis skills

- Demonstrated ability to improve procedures and standards, ensuring quality and delivery of service to customers

- Excellent verbal, active listening, and written communications skills along with demonstrated facilitation skills

- Demonstrated ability to build trust and relationships with business users and leaders

- English language spoken and written fluency required; second language proficiency preferred

- Keen attention to detail; solid organizational and time management skills

- Solid understanding of best practices in business systems usage (ERP, CRM, Field Service) and ability to bring a consulting approach to help solve issues and challenges

- Demonstrated solid understanding of business processes; prior business-level experience a plus

- University Degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Engineering, Business Administration, or the equivalent combination of education, training, and experience
