Job Description
This concierge service will address all support, service and technology needs related to Video Conferencing and meeting room AV support across multiple European offices. This will include technical support for Polycom Codecs, Polycom Telepresence/RPX, Zoom Rooms, Zoom endpoints and a host of Crestron-controlled AV equipment in several meeting rooms across offices in Europe.

Responsibilities

* Provide direct hands-on support to attendees of scheduled and ad-hoc videoconferences who are experiencing codec, desktop hardware, software, or networking issues and provide complete follow-through to successful resolution. * Maintain a complete and thorough inventory of all VC\AV equipment to serve as a base for current proactive support checks and future upgrades. * Perform daily testing of meeting room equipment to ensure all VC\AV technology is performing as expected and contact outside vendor support for any issues that cannot be resolved internally. * Work on special projects, as requested by the European IT Director, including; requirements gathering, solution planning and design, competitive tendering from vendors, management of installations, end-user and technical documentation and implementation of ongoing support processes and maintenance. * Deliver a daily summary of the next day's video-conferencing/AV events where appropriate and proactively alerting IT staff of any technical issues. * Support executive summits, video-conferences, board meetings, and other special events held in London, working closely with senior staff to provide comprehensive and complete support throughout the meetings. * Establish/maintain AV vendor relationships for contact/troubleshooting purposes serving as a liaison with third-party support and equipment vendors. * Use the ServiceNow ticketing system to manage and track all IT issues working within FFE International IT SLA's. * Provide and maintain end-user and technical documentation for all meeting room and collaboration platforms to a professional level. * Contribute to the on-going improvement and development of meeting room equipment and collaboration platforms.

* Extremely adaptive personality with a passion for customer support. * Ability to work after business hours for evening events. * High degree of integrity and ability to understand and protect the confidentiality of business and personal information. * Drive and desire to provide excellent service to demanding clients. * Ability to quickly acquire and comprehend new skills and new technical knowledge, and keep abreast of new technologies as demanded by Senior Executives. * The ability to effectively and professionally communicate and collaborate with all levels of the organisation and peers with an excellent level of spoken and written English. * A thorough understanding of videoconferencing and general AV technologies. * Experience with supporting multiple platforms of mobile and desktop devices: Windows, Mac, iPhone, Android etc. * The ability to quickly and appropriately prioritise multiple requests and bring them to successful resolution. * Shows a structured way of working and can hit deadlines as well as provides timely updates on business as usual (BAU) and project work. * Experience with conference/meeting room support for senior executives in medium to large enterprises (ideally multi-national). * The ability to mentor junior help desk and service desk staff to serve as AV support backup. * The ability to lift and transport heavy to moderately heavy objects, such as computers and peripherals.
