Maxwell Bond working with an innovative & growing global business who boast a large customer portfolio of well-known brands & industry leaders! Due to natural growth, and an extremely successful 2017, they want to recruit a new Service Desk Team Lead to join their experienced and passionate 1st line support team!

The successful Service Desk Team Lead will take responsibility for a small team of 1st line Support Engineers, whilst remaining very hands-on supporting internal end-users (hardware, networks, infrastructure etc.). Furthermore, you will mentor, train and support your team ensuring SLAs & KPIs are met, learning gaps are identified & technology continues to perform to business needs. Plenty to get your teeth stuck into!

To be successful in your application you should have the following experience:

- Strong commercial experience as a 1st line support Engineer / Help Desk Engineer / Service Desk Engineer (or similar) - 300+ users - Previous Team Leader responsibilities within a busy helpdesk / service desk environment - Ability to mentor, train and develop technical staff ensuring SLAs are achieved - Support: Hardware, Networking, Infrastructure, Telephony, software & Virtualisation (not limited to) - Understanding of ITIL service management

The tech team have built an excellent environment and genuinely love to support each other! You must be a tech enthusiast who sees their job as more of a hobby. There is also a requirement for on-call support which will include some weekends (roughly 1 in 5).
