We are working with an excellent business who support some of the largest businesses in the region. We are looking for an IT technician to join the team with some prior experience and an interest in the world of software development.   What will you be doing?

Learn and implement a market leading support service creating a framework for IJYI to expand its support delivery capability in the future. Collaborate closely with other members of the team to create an envied culture and ways of working aligned with the company values, behaviours, strategy, and direction Fix minor issues within customer software when covered by a support agreement as well as recommending maintenance type changes to ensure technology remains supported, stable and secure. Be proactive in making upgrades to supported software to maintain supportability, stability, and security. As time allows, assist with R&D projects that benefit IJYI including the potential for new internal products that help drive the software delivery process  Key requirements:

The team member in this role has broad range of experience in Microsoft technologies and is highly adaptable. They should have experience of working directly with customers to understand their needs and to manage service requests. Ideally, they would have knowledge of typical internal infrastructure components such as firewalls, wi-fi hubs, VPNs and basic networking equipment. They are prepared to frequently jump between liaising with customers, onboarding new services, fixing internal issues, and making software changes. All this is done with a great attitude and an awareness of the commercial aspects of delivering in a managed service environment.  An excellent developmental opportunity for someone with an interest in IT support and software to accelerate their career within a company offering an attractive salary and plenty of great benefits
