|UX, UI Director
An exciting and challenging role for a director to lead all the UX/UI design across the organisation. Working with internal and external UX/UI resources. Rebuilding UX/UI strategy, activity plan and resources you will sit at the centre of the rebuild. You will oversee and be responsible for the entire UX/UI approach, working in close partnership and collaboration with all other business functions across the globe.
Designing, building, and delivering the UX/UI strategy and deployment plan (roadmap) globally Lead the UX/UI design across the organisation Own the end-to-end process: design, develop + deploy Understanding customer needs (UX/UI, digital experience) Deliver consistency of customer experience across multiple platforms and locations Contribute to the selection and appointment of an external UX/UI agency resource (London) This would suit and experienced UX designer, interaction designer, information architect, or similar. Someone who can demonstrate a portfolio of work with a proven track record for solving difficult UX design problems and simplifying difficult requirements to intuitive interfaces for customers. Working in close collaboration with R+D / technical and other functional teams. Experience creating services and applications with multiple user touchpoints on different platforms and devices. Experience in deploying CHATBOT technology would be an advantage.
Ideally you will hold a Bachelor's or Master’s degree in design, human-computer interaction (HCI), or equivalent professional experience. With strong UX across iOS, Android, mobile and desktop web platforms. Working with customer insights manager, digital marketing teams and R&D. Always looking at customer research, understanding customers needs and improving UX/UI experience. You will work at first mostly with an external agency resource which you will be involved in the appointment of and over time if the business conditions require the internal team will grow..
This would suit a passionate, experienced, highly motivated, highly energetic candidate who will clearly ‘own’ the UX/UI agenda, but will balance this with the need to take a wider audience and group of stakeholders with them on the journey.
